Our Story

Gratitude brings joy, centered with love.

Inspired and influenced by the hula lifestyle, mahalohappy was born from an idea rooted in aloha and gratitude. Through our many years of studying and practicing hula, Hawaiian language, and culture from esteemed kumu, we have developed a deep love for this sacred and treasured art form. We realized the far reach that hula and “living aloha” has had on the global community, bringing joy and happiness to so many.

mahalohappy celebrates joy with original designs adorned on high-quality apparel, accessories, and stationery.

Aloha kākou,

After much thought and consideration, we decided to close our online store and Etsy shop for the time being. Due to compounding life events, we know that this is a time to remember that being flexible and adapting to life’s circumstances is what can continue to keep us mahalohappy.

So it’s not goodbye, it’s a change to how we will be offering our original art and designs.

Keep an eye out for new design announcements from mahalohappy!

We know this may be a sudden announcement and we sincerely appreciate all the support and enthusiasm we have received from everyone.

Remember, we are not going away! We have decided to transition and make our original art available in other ways, which we will announce very soon, so stay tuned!

Life is good and we remain mahalohappy, indeed.

Please continue to support and purchase from small businesses, especially in your local area.

We encourage you to purchase from artists and makers that we have carried and supported in our online store. Not only are they talented, but they are also wonderful people with whom we would love to grab some coffee and doughnuts!
